So they released the trailer fot the Notorious movie, the one about biggie. and it looks worth seeing. It has alot of good actors and actresses including Angela Bassett, Anthony Mackie and is directed by George Tillman Jr. Its about the life and death story of Notorious B.I.G. (a.k.a. Christopher Wallace), who came straight out of Brooklyn to take the world of rap music by storm.

Most of the original cast has come back together for the fourth installment of the Fast and Furious movie series. This time, instead of  stealing TVs, they are boosting the most valuable item in the world right now…….gas!! Check out the trailer. Looks like it’s going to be worth watching.

Don Cheadle isn’t taking a break anytime soon. Watch him in another major role in The Traitor, opposite Guy Pearce.The movie is an evenhanded look at terrorism according to David Hoberman who, along with Todd Lieberman and Cheadle are producing the film. Cheadle will play an undercover CIA agent spying on a terrorist cell when he becomes a terrorist suspect himself. Pearce will play the investigating FBI agent. Filming is set to begin in September in Toronto and Morocco according to The Hollywood Reporter.

If you haven’t raided the piggie bank for this one yet you might as well do it now. We checked it out the other day and it really is our favorite movie of the year so far. The plot and story line are the same no major twists but you will leave smiling and flushed with a nostalgia. You’ll also get a few stand out performances from Downey, Howard and Tahir who as usual walked the line between unmemorable performance and “oh yea thats the guy from The Jungle Book” very well.

Kimbo Slice a.k.a. Kevin Ferguson is coming to  a TV near you, it has been announced by CBS that the network will be showing several two hour fights this coming season, and the main event…None other then Kimbo, if you have not seen him fight; check him out on youtube, he is what happens when a grizzly bear and Mike Tyson gives birth. He can really really REALLY fight!!! But please do not take him for all braun and no brain, he attended the University of Miami (Florida) on an academic scholarship.  At this point in time he became involved in the bodyguard profession and eventually started street fighting for money. Which is where he gained his popularity after his fights were posted on youtube and he became an internet sensation.

NYDN gossip columnists Rush & Molloy, who are like 30-0 on hip-hop rumors, say that Jay and Nas are getting ready to record their collaboration album.

Rumors continue to swirl about Jay-Z’s still-unconfirmed new record label, Carter Music Group. We hear that Jay is partnering with rapper Nas on an album of duets, “The Kings of Hip Hop,” to be released on the label early next year. Jay’s rep is keeping tight-lipped.

Jay-Z and Nas album? Could be hot…or just another rumor like, The new Dre Album Detox….
