This is a new joint from one of our favorite female MCs, Jean Grea. You might remember her from MTV’s Made but thats besides the point; she can spit and spit well. Check out this single from the NYC female phenom:

xv: 40 Days and 40 Nights
Most of you probably haven’t heard of XV but you should google him or check out his Coolniverse . He makes songs about things that those born in the mid to late 80 and grew up in middle class neighborhoods can relate to, if this is not you don’t even bother you’ll just hate it. But if it is then these songs will get you nostalgic:

New Nas: Ni**A Hatred
Can’t wait for this album to drop I may even resist the urge to download it and actually reach into the Piggy Bank and pay for this one. If you’ve never seen Paul Mooney live this dude speaks his mind, the sample doesn’t do him justice. This is the intro to the Nas music video and it speaks volumes on the nature of this album, shout out to Meka for this one:

New Artist>>>Made in the Midwest: DJ B-Nunn
This is a new posting category highlighting local artist, designers, models, writers, etc. All born in Ohio, or the surrounding region. But without further ado:
In hip hop the DJ usually maintains a quiet demeanor, plays the background, and sets the mood for parties, there are some exceptions Flex, Clue, DJ Drama, but those are few and far between. Even in those instances, no one really takes the swagger of the rapper and embodies it in the form of a DJ. Until now; you can here it in his voice, and the electricity is in his movements that B-Nunn is the #1 DJ in the streets. It is the swagger reserved for the rapper that B-Nunn embodies that makes him unique. Imagine Camron as a DJ and you get B-Nunn. With plenty of skills on the turntables, he is not afraid to tell you how good he is, and then prove it. Just check his SMOKIN PURPLE Mixtape; it is a mix of the hottest songs from unsigned artist, blended together in a smooth, transient flow. Listening to the mixtape is like smoking weed in a drop top on a Sunday. Watch out for him because DJ B-Nunn is on the rise.
