During a performance in Sydney, Jo Jo of Jodeci passed out while singing “All My Life.” Although the internet has been speculating that the singer’s falling out was drug relating, Jo Jo’s brother K-Ci  refutes those claims. K-Ci went on to say that Jo Jo had a epileptic seizure the day before, and hadn’t been feeling well. Regardless of the reason, it is still funny to watch K-Ci keep singing while his brother is laid out. Also, notice the bodyguard making sure the microphone was ok before Jo Jo. WOW!!!! LOL!!!!!

Tallahassee native T-Pain as released the video for his first single of off his third album, “Thr33 Rings.”  Surprisingly the video is actually pretty creative. ALot of green screen and computer animation. Check it out and leave a comment.

A lot of people think he fell off, I’ve even heard him referred to as “a shell of the rapper he used to be” harsh words for someone who simply grew up in the rap game and now sees pas the need to “beef ” with the other imaginary gangsters on the scene. and way the freestyle has a Marley Marl beat behind it and the new single has a nice gutter hip hop sound without being ignorant.

Not really much to say about this. Except we told you. I mean its messed up but very funny that these dudes jumped him and then rocked his chain then closed the ordeal with with a nice big confirmation that “yes we did take his chain”. Ok, so the word on the street is that Christian Ward aka Yung Berg was trying to relax at a night club in Detroit with his brother, and no entourage when the club owner’s goons jumped Ward and his brother. He was said to be so bruised that he missed a performance the following day and feeling a little light since they also took his transformer chain. The club was owned by none other than Trick Trick a Detroit rapper with a chip on his shoulder he apparently recently got into a scuffle with Trick Daddy also.

So we got a chance to meet this cat when he came to town on wednesdaylast week seemed like cool people, dope ass tour bus and way too much Cheeba. But a few gems were dropped on the Offdaglass fam and we just wanted to bring em to you before we take off for he weekend to do some much needed shopping in Ann Arbor. But if you like that 90’s west coast feel you’ll love these tracks. and the bonus track may get deleed(record company censorship) but if u hurry u just might hear some hot shit.

The execs handling this project are less than optimistic about the album sales. We predict that there will be a lot of finger pointing in the weeks to come. The Glass City’s favorite artist has dropped a new mixtape with Atlanta’s new mixtape king, DJ Scream. We are listening to this as we type. Hey…..it sounds like Gucci. lol!!!! What else did you expect.?

As part of Vibe’s 15th anniversary issue fashion feature the magazine re-creates its memorable October 1995 cover featuring Biggie and his wife Faith Evans in the back of a 1968 Cadillac DeVille.

This month’s fashion spread features stars from the film, including Jamal “Gravy” Woolard [Biggie], Derek Luke [Sean Combs], Angela Bassett [Voletta Wallace], Antonique Smith [Faith Evans], and Naturi “I couldn’t land a role as a Cheetah Girl” Naughton [Lil Kim].

The spread, styled by veteran Fashion Director Memsor Kamarake, also includes Biggie’s real-life family and friends Faith Evans, their son Christopher “CJ” Wallace, and his mom and film producer Voletta Wallace, and members of Junior M.A.F.I.A.

Due to the success of his Forgivable fragrance, Diddy is set to launch a new line of cologne called “I Am King.” The new cologne is set for a December launch and will be supported by the above I Am King print ad campaign that will be featured in urban and lifestyle magazine along with an accompanying outdoor campaign. The print and TV campaign kicks off in September and will portray Combs as his typical mogul self which includes flying to exotic locations like Monaco and Saint-Tropez with models Bar Refaeli and Ana Paula, riding jet skis around the French Riviera, lounging aboard his yacht and gambling inside the Casino de Paris in Monte Carlo.

Diddy recently told Women’s Wear Daily “I Am King is a statement about all men. We are all descendants of royalty – and if we carry ourselves and respect ourselves in that manner and believe in ourselves, then we are all kings.”

Diddy also has released a Sean John line of tees that support the similar I Am King theme. These tees are currently available at online stores such as Dr. Jays. The I Am King cologne will have a similar distribution model to Forgivable and will be featured nation-wide exclusively at Macy’s department stores. Forgivable has racked in over $100 million globally from its current Macy’s deal. Diddy will follow up with a woman’s perfume called I Am Queen in 2009 and will also be supported with a full ad campaign and Sean John clothing.

Many celebrities showed up for The 2008 Ozone Awards. The 3rd Ozone Award Show had the expected fight or two, but at least no one was killed, right? (bad joke) Here are the pics from the red carpet.

As Offdaglass has recently reported, Houston Rapper Mike Jones received a bloody nose courtesy of fellow Houston Rapper Trae The Truth at The 2008 Ozone Awards. Once again, Offdaglass has exclusive footage of Trae The Truth speaking on the incident just minutes after it happened.

Offdaglass has just received exclusive audio from Young Jeezy’s upcoming album The Recession. From what we hear, this album is shaping up to be as good if not better than his multi-platinum debut Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101.

What was thought to be positive publicity for Houston, The Ozone Awards began to mimic The Source Awards. Just moments before the award show began, fellow Houston rappers Mike Jones and Trae The Truth engaged in a verbal/ physical confrontation, which resulted in Mike Jone leaving with a bloody nose. This post is for my people who hit me with requests like; why don’t you post real hip hop? or Where the underground love at? This man is gonna be big just wait and see. He is smart, talented and well he has 90% or the worlds rappers beat right there. This is why hip hop is not dead, because for what it’s worth Soulja Boy did his thing even if you don’t like his music respect the hustle. This guy falls into that category people who can really impact Hip-Hop the way it’s present “legends” should but don’t anymore because they lost their hunger.
