Most of you probably haven’t heard of XV but you should google him or check out his Coolniverse . He makes songs about things that those born in the mid to late 80 and grew up in middle class neighborhoods can relate to, if this is not you don’t even bother you’ll just hate it. So they released the trailer fot the Notorious movie, the one about biggie. and it looks worth seeing. It has alot of good actors and actresses including Angela Bassett, Anthony Mackie and is directed by George Tillman Jr. Its about the life and death story of B.I.G. (a.k.a. Christopher Wallace), who came straight out of Brooklyn to take the world of rap music by storm.

Toledo Stand Up! Our very own Pretty Boy Bam Bam has alot to celebrate of late. For those who have been under a rock; the 5yr old form the south-side of Toledo, also known as the Golden Child, was recently signed to Floyd Mayweather’s boxing company in a multi-million dollar deal without ever throwing an official punch in the ring. So, Akon is supposed to go to trial for an incident at a 2007 event KFest that took place inFishkill, NY. The rapper allegedly threw a 15-year-old boy off stage at which point he fell onto a female audience member who is said to have gotten a concussion when the boy landed on her.
Detroit’s mayor Kwame Kilpatrick plead guilty today to sex scandal charges, and resigns as mayor. He was once the hope of a city, not just any city but one of the worst and most corrupted cities in the country. And on the heels of his pledge to turn around Detroit the 38-Year-Old Democrat plead guilty as a part of a deal that ends the Chaos that his actions left the city and state drowning in.

You can’t be from the Midwest and not proud when we get national buzz. Well lately, Cleveland and DJ Ev have been puttin on for their city and the game is starting to come around. If you haven’t heard Bi**h I’m from Cleveland v1 and v2 please shoot yourself. With rappers like Chip tha Ripper and Al Fatz the OH might FINALLY get some shine.

Personally, I think Ace Hood looks like BUUDDDD off the cosby show; you know that would always kick it with Rudy but who am I to judge especially when his album is slated for release Oct. 14th and his mixtape is hype. Been listening to it for a week now and really like it so I’m giving it to the people. Enjoy!!
